The Labor Management Partnership at Jackson Health is a joint operational strategy shared by health system leadership and SEIU Local 1991 to improve service and performance.
It’s a joint commitment created to deliver high-quality care and service to Jackson Health patients and continuously improve performance as measured by national standards. Importantly, the union and individual frontline workers are integral to the work of the partnership and decisions about how to deliver the best care. The partnership is rooted in the principle that frontline care providers are best able to innovate solutions to challenges and opportunities, and the work is critical to helping Jackson continue to improve in quality, service, and affordability of care.
Most of the day-to-day work of the partnership is directed by unit-based teams who are diving into specific projects and opportunities around the health system. Learn more about UBTs.
