On Oct. 2, 2010 SEIU Local 1991 members joined thousands of other groups for a historic march in Washington D.C.
The “One Nation Working Together” rally at the Lincoln Memorial brought together a coalition of labor groups and civil rights activists fighting for jobs, immigration reform, economic opportunities and better education. The day started at 11 a.m., followed by a variety of speakers and performers, including the Rev. Al Sharpton.
Thanks to all of our members who traveled to D.C. for this exciting event
