SEIU 1991 leadership has spent over a year communicating with the developers of Uni Tower. Throughout this process, we have secured 40 units for our members in a brand-new affordable housing project. This first-of-its-kind development is a housing project geared toward essential workers.
Uni Tower will have 252 residences available to police, fire, public defenders, and healthcare workers. We have secured 40 units for our healthcare workers who meet the income threshold.
