Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners held a ceremony in honor of Nurse Practitioner Week. SEIU Local 1991 President Martha Baker, RN, and Joy Glaze, an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who works at the JHS Heart and Transplant Outpatient center, were both recognized at the meeting.
Joy Glaze has worked at JHS for 26 years. She said she was proud to receive the honor on behalf of the nearly 200 hardworking nurse practitioners who make miracles happen daily at Jackson Health System.
