Grand Jury Report Released Today

The healthcare workers at Jackson who continue to provide world-class healthcare on a daily basis see this institution from the inside out.

We asked for a Grand Jury investigation because it was obvious that the management and finances of Jackson were in shambles.

The results of the investigation published today have proven that our suspicions of mismanagement are in fact founded.

Miami-Dade Commissioners Vote Against Further Cuts in First Budget Discussion!


After nearly 100 Local 1991 members sent letters to Miami-Dade Commissioners urging them not to slash the county's budget again, commissioners today voted to raise the millage rate to maintain the current county budget, also known as the "roll-back" rate.
