SEIU 1991 President Vicki Gonzalez speaks to Univision about the nursing staffing crisis

The Florida Hospital Association projects that the state faces a shortfall of nearly 60,000 nurses by the year 2035. According to the FHA, 70 percent of Florida hospitals are already experiencing critical staffing shortages, with one in four nurses and one in three critical care nurses resigning.
