A county task force comprising leaders from the private healthcare industry thinks Jackson Memorial Hospital should 
become a private, nonprofit entity. Who would have guessed? Why are we asking this group of hospitals, which collectively provide the next best care in our community, to determine the fate of Jackson Health System, which consistently provides the best care in our community?
If these profiteers get their way, where will we take our families when we need the best care in South Florida?
